On the day of arrival your room is available from 15:00. Subject to availability and prior arrangement, you are welcome to check into your room earlier for an additional charge of EUR 10.00 per room and hour.

On the day of departure, your room will be available until 11:00 noon. Subject to availability and prior arrangement, you are welcome to extend your stay for EUR 10.00 per room per hour.

Various banks can be found on the main canal, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Please contact the reception staff. We will be happy to provide you with these free of charge.

Upon request, we will change your bed linen daily. You can also receive an additional blanket on request by contacting the reception staff.

Our rich breakfast buffet awaits you from Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, on Saturday from 6:30 am to 10:30 am and on Sunday from 7:00 am to 11:30 am and is included in the room rate. For each additional person, we charge 29,00 EUR.
If you would like to have breakfast in your room, please contact the reception staff on 189 and ask for our current breakfast menu.

We are happy to provide you with a space for your bicycles in our lockable and covered bicycle garage with power connections for your e-bikes free of charge. Please understand that it is not possible to reserve a space and that spaces are limited. We accept no liability for items brought in. We would ask you not to charge your bike batteries in the rooms, but in the bike garage or at our permanently manned reception. If you have any further questions, please contact our reception staff.

A toothbrush, shave set, haircomb or oropax can be obtained at the reception.

The Hotel Alte Werft Papenburg is a Tesla charging station partner and offers the only charging possibility in the regional area. You have the possibility to charge your Tesla or other pure eMobility vehicles during your stay at EUR 49.00 / 12 hours.

Are you planning an event with your company or privately? We have a large repertoire of possibilities. Whether a conference, company outing, family celebration or dinner, our competent staff in the events department will be happy to prepare an offer for you.

We would charge 17,90 EUR per dog and day. We offer you free of charge a blanket and a dog bowl. Baskets and food will not be supplied by the hotel. If you leave your dog in your room, please use the provided “dog-card” and hang it outside on your room door.

In all accessible indoor and outdoor areas of the Hotel Alte Werft, the consumption of food and beverages, that have not been purchased from us, is prohibited. For each offence violation, the guest shall forfeit a contractual penalty of EUR 25.00, which in the case of wilful this penalty shall be payable for each individual offence, irrespective of the continuation of the offence.

Please feel free to use our Espresso machine in your room to get fresh coffee or tea. On demand we serve you additional capsules for 1,00 EUR each.

If you authorize us to charge your credit card after your departure, we will be pleased to facilitate an accelerated check-out.

Escape plan

In cooperation with the nearby fitness center InJoy, you are welcome to use their facilities free of charge. Information on this is available at the reception.

We will be happy to make bouquets or flower arrangements for you on order at a charge.

Our hotel has a restaurant that will be happy to serve you hot and cold dishes during your stay. If you purchase food from outside, we ask for understanding that we will charge you an allowance of expenses from EUR 5,00 per dish.

You have the possibility to rent a garage at the price of 25,00 EUR per day. Please ask our reception staff for availability.

At the reception you are able to purchase a gift voucher.

If you request in time we are pleased to help you out with the needed gluten-free meals.

You are welcome to participate in our half board for 39,00 EUR per person per day. This consists of a 3-course menu with a choice of two main courses or a buffet of the chef’s choice. If you are interested, please contact our reception staff.

Our hotel bar is part of our Schnürboden restaurant. It is open for you daily from 06:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Iron and ironing board are available free of charge, please contact the reception staff for this request. Furthermore, you have the possibility to use our ironing service from 08:00 to 18:00. For this service we charge 3,00 EUR per garment.

Would you like to use our laundry service? You will find more information on our laundry sheet. This, as well as a laundry bag, are ready for you in the closet.

Have you lost something? The reception staff will be happy to check whether your lost property has been handed in. We keep lost property for 6 months from the day it is found.

On request, we can transport your luggage to your room or back into the car. Please speak to our staff at reception. You are welcome to leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out at reception for safe storage.

We prepare lunch boxes for you for 12,50 EUR per lunch box. Please contact the reception desk.

In the interests of sustainability, we will no longer have minibars in the standard and superior rooms. Instead, we are pleased to now be able to offer you our snackmachine. You will find this centrally located between our Restaurant Schnürboden and the reception. A wide selection of drinks and snacks awaits you here – something for every taste. Here you will find an overview of the items and prices of our maxi bar.

Please note, that we are a Non-Smoking-Hotel. If you smoke in the non-smoking areas and rooms we allow ourselves to charge you a cleaning fee of 250,00 EUR (incl. VAT).

For our smoking guests we have a smoking area in front of our hotel, which you are welcome to use. This is partially covered.

Around the Hotel Alte Werft 230 parking spaces are available free of charge.

To get an outside line, please dial „0“. Information on telephone charges can be obtained from the reception staff. You can call from room to room free of charge. Just dial the corresponding room number.

Do you have a special request pillow? We can provide a spelt pillow, a side sleeper pillow and a neck support pillow. Please contact our reception staff.

In the time as soon as you hang the card outside on your room door, we neither will disturb you nor entering the room for cleaning it.

You can reach our restaurant at number 200. The restaurant “Schnürboden” is open for you until 23:00. The kitchen is open daily from 12:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00 and offers a regional and international cuisine.

We offer our room service daily from 06:00 to 22:00. We charge 5,00 EUR per order for room service. You will find the room service menu under “Gastronomy” in this hotel folder.

Sewing kits are available free of charge at the reception. Do you need assistance with sewing? Please contact our reception staff. We are pleased to help you.

A shoe shine machine is located in the hotel lobby.
