Every new ship built by Meyer Werft started here
Where you can now indulge in delicious specialties from our kitchen was once the so-called “Schnürboden”. Every new ship being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard started here. All the individual parts of a planned ship had to be drawn in original size. Because they originally measured and drew with strings, the name “Schnürboden” (lacing floor) came into being.
Food purchased from outside
Our hotel has a restaurant that will be happy to serve you hot and cold dishes during your stay.
We kindly point out that the consumption of food and beverages ordered or purchased from catering establishments in the immediate vicinity is not permitted on our premises. This rule serves to maintain a respectful and fair coexistence and to support our in-house offerings. For each violation, the guest will be charged a contractual penalty of EUR 25.00, which will be payable for each individual violation in the case of intentional violations, regardless of whether they are part of a series of violations.
Of course, food and beverages purchased and brought along during the journey, for example, may be consumed in the room. Thank you for your understanding.
Half board
You are welcome to participate in our half board for 38,50 EUR per person per day. This consists of a 3-course menu with two main courses to choose from or a buffet at the chef’s discretion. If you are interested, please contact our reception staff.
Gluten free kitchen
By prior arrangement, we will be happy to meet your needs and wishes.
Lunch box
We are happy to prepare a lunch box for 12.50 EUR. Please contact the reception staff for this.
