Espresso Machine
1. Connect the machine to the mains.
2. Take the water tank (behind the machine) to fill it with water.
3. Fill the water tank with water from the tap – up to the marked line at the most. Replace the water tank. Check that the water tank is connected exactly to the machine and is standing right up.
4. Open the lever of the machine for the capsule by pushing the lever slightly upwards from the front. The hatch for the capsule opens.
5. Take a capsule of your choice and insert it into the opening of the coffee machine. Make sure that the wider part of the capsule points in your direction or towards the coffee spout (see picture in the instructions).
6. Close the lever again by pushing it back down in your direction.

7. Check, that the lever is firmly closed.
8. To switch on the machine now, press either the Espresso
or the Lungo button above the machine (close to the water tank).
9. Buttons flash: heating phase (approx. 25 sec.).
Buttons light up constantly: machine is ready for operation.
10. Now place a cup on the drip tray under the coffee spout.
11. Now press the Espresso button (small cup) or the Lungo
button (large cup) as desired.
